Just a quick mod to switch the stock Orange Voice of the World Speakers for Vintage 30’s in a 2×12. Originally wired in series this cab an 8 ohm load but as the Vintage 30’s we were putting in were 16 ohm I rewired in as a parallel cab which means it now has a 16 ohm load.
This weekend I went up to The Guitar Show with my buddy Dan Burvill and we had great time trying out all sorts of bits and pieces from some awesome manufacturers.
I picked up this Tobacco Sunburst Epiphone Les Paul Custom recently for a bargain as the nut was chipped and there was a small hairline fracture in the neck, perhaps from a fall.

Last night I went along to check out Kirk Fletcher at the Duke of Cumberland in Whitstable. I’ve been to this venue a few times before to see some pretty cool acts including the always excellent Tener Duende.
